I think it's safe to say your easily impressed. Ancient civilizations with far less technology build much better structures than that. If this is best thing that came out of Mexico than I'll resume making fun of that third world hell hole.

Terry's Amazing Stories
by Blue Grass inam i the only one who think's a lot of the amazing stories terry come up with are fabricated or completely untrue?
every week he tells us how he by chance ran into a jw, mormon, evangilcial, etc.
and comes up with witty answers every time to counter every point they make and than have them running in fear.

when the gallery at this forum is running 95% against your idea/comment, you had better think that maybe your original position needs to be revisited.
I'm surprise you would say something like that considering 95% pf the poster on your doormat thread disagreed with you, yet you still cling to that very same idea.

If you think dear Terry is... ummmm... embellishing... that's okay - you're entitled to your opinion. But you should probably ask for a few more details (i.e., "Terry, how is it that you come to have all of these kinds of experiences. I seldom/never run into such folks or have such conversations and it is curious to me that you do. What's up with that?"... or something like that)... BEFORE publicly polling others as to THEIR opinion on such things.
That's actually very good advice and I will consider it for future threads. However based on some of the responses on this thread I get the feeling even if I had jut politely questioned Terry some would tell me my post count is too low to question him or I don't have enough seniority to questions what he says. I thought I was done with the BS of "ranking" people based on numbers(hours in field service) and how long they been a member of this board(the organization) . For ex-jws I guess old habits die hard.

Jesus and the Demons
by Weeping injesus christ and demons.
my question to christians who doubt the devils existence: why would jesus bother casting out demons if they dont exist?.
why would paul say in romans 8:37-39 "...in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

I'm a Christian and I don't believe in a single being who rule over demons such as "satan". Demons are unclean spirits that came out of the nephilim when they died in the flood. Satan is not a name, it means accuser and anybody can be called satan such as Peter. There is no one being called satan, the term can apply to anyone based on there actions. As for the angels who came to earth that fooled Eve and had realtions with women, they are not roaming the earth but are being held in Tartarus until there destruction.
2 Peter 2: 4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to tartarus, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment;

For a relatively new person to call out a respected long time member over nothing is really showing a lack of manners and respect.
This is an odd thing to say coming from a person who joined 3 months ago. Not that it matters but I was a lurking on this site since 2007.
What gives Blue Grass?
It's nothing personal agaisnt Terry. After viewing his threads and reading his stories it's just seems so fake. He always confronted by a religious person for not apparent reason and every time he gets his point across just in time to show how right he is. It just seem so scripted.
P.S I haven't seen him say any of these encounters took place in a bookstore.

Wow, Mr. <200 Posts.
I'm sorry, I fail to see what post count has to do with anything.
If you had .001 percent of Terry's intelligence you wouldn't have bothered to waste your words.
I don't understand what you mean by I wasted my words. Perhaps you could explain.
By the way leavingWT, the first sentence in my opening post is what we call a rhetorical question, which means it didn't require an answer. Normally I don't make a big deal about semantics but I see you're from Mississippi and therefore probably didn't know any better.

It's seems odd that ever time he steps out the house someone is trying to proselytize him? I just going to go ahead and call BS on all his stories.

Why is the bible silent on Lazarus?
by Aussie Oz inthe only fully human man recorded to have been resurected from the dead and the bible says nothing.. the religious leaders of jesus day were all over people that jesus 'cured' etc, and the bible records these events.
questioning them, the parents etc.. but lazarus?
zip, nada, nothing save the account that he was resurected.

I find it strange that there is no testimony from these people, we would all like to know what their experience was.
You seem to be assuming people have immortal spirits and they experience something when they die. This however is not what the Bible teaches and Jesus himself said Lazarus was sleep. Lazarus had nothing to tell because he didn't experience anything.
